Rainbow Love

This is a poem that I forgot I wrote after my divorce. I was going to turn this piece into a song, however I can't figure out the melody to it. So instead, I'll make it into a poem and I hope you all enjoy this piece. Happy writing!

Stay love & bless!

RAINBOW LOVE - Drue Lee

The beginning of it all was so good to be true

Bright yellow sun shines every time I was with you

Our days were never filled with gloomy skies and gray clouds

We would laugh and sing our favorite songs out loud

I looked at you through my rose-colored glasses

To freeze the time so our happy days won’t passes

Our love could've last a life time

Everything I had I left it behind

To chase you to be in this so call

Rainbow love, this rainbow love

Now that you’re gone, my heart has been broken into two

No more red roses, just singing the blues

They say the grass is not always greener on the other side

The damages has been done and you’ve hurt my pride

You never saw things in black and white

This time I end us without a fight

Our love didn’t last this life time

Everything you had you left it behind

To use me and be in this so call

Rainbow love, this rainbow love

No more of this Rainbow love

Never gonna put you above

This rainbow love, I no longer call real love
